Look after yourself like a plant.
Get some sunlight.
Just like plants need sunlight, so do we! It is widely known that Vitamin D comes from milk and some foods, but did you know it also comes from sunlight?
In fact, 15 minutes of sunlight exposure at least 3 times per week can give us enough Vitamin D to make up for what is missing in food.
Drink plenty of water.
According to the Journal of Biological Chemistry, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water.
Skin is 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: at 31%. It only makes sense to drink water if much of our bodies, and most especially the brain, are made of water!
Get some fresh air and activity.
Some plants do well indoors, and some plants thrive in the outdoor elements of wind, rain, and snow.
I’d like for you to imagine though that you are a plant that happens to benefit from the fresh air. Imagine the slight breeze that moves you and gives you chance to interact with other plants.
Studies have shown that spending time outdoors and in nature can induce calm, decrease depression, and stave off anxiety.
There is a treatment called Ecotherapy, where you spend a prescribed amount of time outdoors and in nature to treat depression.
The benefits of being around nature and green plants is also very grounding.
Ensure that you are getting proper nutrients and minerals.
Have you ever seen those commercials for plant food or soil? They show flowers that grow without the MiracleGro and some that do.
The difference is, with the plant food, the flowers grow bigger and are more resilient and the ones that grow without it are still pretty, but puny and weaker.
The same goes for our bodies! If we ingest junk food or fast food, sure our bodies will survive.
We won’t go hungry and we will live. But if we eat high quality, nutritious food and take our vitamins, our bodies will not just be surviving and functioning, they will THRIVE.
As usual I hope this helps.
Give us ❤️ if this helps

Happy national Bird Day! 🐦
Today is the perfect excuse to stop, look up and watch or listen to the birds.
Taking just 2mins out of your day to stop & take a break helps your body and mind rest and refresh it's self.
More often than not when you take time out, you end up feeling more energised and motivated than if you keep trudging on.
What birds have you spotted today?
Gail❤️🙏x
DID YOU KNOW?
Exercise has some direct stress-busting benefits.
Exercise increases your overall health and your sense of well-being, which puts more spring in your step every day.
But exercise also has some direct stress-busting benefits.
It pumps up your endorphins.
Physical activity may help bump up the production of your brain's feel-good neurotransmitters, called endorphins.
Although this function is often referred to as a runner's high, any aerobic activity, such as a rousing game of tennis or a nature hike, can contribute to this same feeling.
What will you do today to put an extra spring in your step? Share below 👇🏻
Gail ❤️🙏x
Today has been a slow one.
I haven’t even got anywhere near my daily target of 10,000 steps.
I haven’t even got dressed or brushed my hair.
But what I have done is:
🗣 Spoke my truth ( I’ve opened up to hubby about something that has bothered me for ages but have been too fearful to say)
🎅🏻 Taken the Christmas decorations down and cleaned up
👚 Got my clothes ready for the return to work tomorrow
🍱 Planned my lunches for the week to take to work
📚 Ordered more books for the challenge I’m doing
🥗 Eaten quite healthy ……..
And do you know what?
It feels like a day of wins 🏆
I feel lighter and content. 😃
So remember any achievements big or small, IS A WIN!!!
Celebrate them all 🎉
Small steady steps are what get you to your goal 🥅
What wins have you achieved today?
Gail ❤️🙏x
Happy New Year’s Eve to you all!!! 🥂🥳
Are you like me and make new year resolutions for the year ahead, only to break them a week in?
Why not try one of these instead:
1. Create a Bucket List For the New Year.
List some things you may want to try/ places you want to go, in the new year.
2. Follow a Monthly 30-Day Challenge.
Come up with a list of twelve 30-day challenges, and complete one for each month of the year.
What’s a 30-day challenge?
A 30-day challenge consists of setting a small goal that can be achieved in 30 days, along with the specific action that you’ll be taking each day to achieve the goal.
3. Create a List of Things to Look Forward To.
What are you looking forward to this year?
Maybe you have a great holiday planned, or a friend is getting married, or there’s a writing workshop that you’re really looking forward to attending.
I’m going to follow monthly 30-day challenges.
Do you like this alternative idea?
What are you thinking of doing?
Much love to you all, Gail ❤️🙏
I’m making time for what I love
Do you make time for hobbies or for doing things that you love?
Here’s why you should.
Fall, Leaves, Fall
Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night’s decay
Ushers in a drearier day.

July is known as the “dog days” of Summer.
This is because in days gone by, it was too hot to do much strenuous work, so people would slow down within this month.
Hence why the school holidays begin in this month.
What could you do to slow down and introduce relaxation into your life, this July?
A wonderful Monday morning to you all my lovelies!🤗
MINDSET MONDAY
If you accept your emotions for what they are, research found that you are more likely to put your physical, emotional and mental well-being first.
So, in other words, self-love motivates you to make healthy choices in life.
When you hold yourself in high esteem, you're more likely to choose things that nurture your well-being and serve you well.
What would be your perfect Saturday?
When you’re feeling triggered or overwhelmed…………….
FOODIE FRIDAY:
How to eat for resilience
If you’re already stressed out, spending hours in the kitchen each night cooking intensive homemade meals isn’t realistic.
But there are simple ways you can put a little extra thought into what you’re eating and help your body fight stress in the process.
Keep it simple
Now isn’t the time to try a bunch of new recipes or pretend you’re a contestant on “Master Chef.” Instead, stick to ingredients you know you like and foods you already know how to cook.
Don’t worry about making something fancy.
If you don’t have time to make dinner, grab a pre-cooked chicken, some steam-in-the-bag frozen veggies, some microwaveable minute rice.
It isn’t the most gourmet and isn’t going to impress your friends on Instagram, but it’s a well-balanced meal.
Drop me a 👍 if this has inspired you to try this next time you feel exhausted or stressed.
THOUGHTFUL THURSDAY Pick & Mix
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Studies have found that acts of kindness are linked to increased feelings of wellbeing.
Helping others can also improve our support networks and encourage us to be more active.
This, in turn, can improve our self-esteem.
There is some evidence to suggest that when we help others, it can promote changes in the brain that are linked with happiness. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
What can you do today to help others & put a smile on their and your face?
As usual there are some suggestions below but you could find something else which may resonate better with you.
Which ones would you like to try?
Or do you already do something else?
If you do please share in the comments.
It just might inspire others to give it a go.
I’m looking forward to see what you all think 😉
Until tomorrow, take care 😊❤️ x
GOOD MORNING MY LOVELIES!!! 🤗🤗
Sunshine and happiness go together like fish and chips!
Give me a 👍 if you agree!
GOOD MORNING TO YOU ALL!!!
And Hello Well-being Wednesday!!!
We’ve all heard the saying:
“breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”
Here’s why:
⭐️⭐️ One of the easiest and often overlooked ways to maintain our mental health is through the role of nutrition.
There’s no denying that what we choose to put in our bodies directly affects how we look, feel, and function overall.
Luckily, the best way to set ourselves up for a successful day, both mentally and physically, starts with one healthy habit:
a consistent breakfast routine.
While it’s no secret that what you consume first thing in the morning can drastically affect your mood and productivity levels throughout the day, recent studies show that what you eat for breakfast can even affect your mental health longterm. ⭐️⭐️
Do you have a breakfast routine?
Drop me a comment and tell me what you do every morning.
Until tomorrow, take care lovelies ❤️ xx
Wishing you all a good morning 🤗 xx
After a long and stressful day, you set aside some time to sit and relax.
Your breathing deepens and your muscles relax, as you feel the tensions of the day melting away.
Suddenly, your body tightens.
Waves of panic wash over you in a storm of anxiety, and the feelings of relaxation vanish.
You come out of the relaxation time more stressed than you were beforehand.
If this sounds familiar, I can help you.
⭐️⭐️ I offer 1:1 Relaxation coaching ⭐️⭐️
This consists of hourly coaching sessions where I will create a personalised Relaxation Plan for you to take away and implement.
To give you an example, here are some of the areas we could focus on for your plan:
🌟 How to reduce stress, worry and overthinking.
🌟 How to feel more in control of your life.
🌟 How to relax in the evening to enable good restful sleep.
So here’s what I offer:
✳️ You can book these sessions as and when you need them.
✳️ They can be face-to-face or on-line.
✳️ You will have on-going support from me in-between sessions.
So if you are interested, hit the reply button, type yes and I can get you booked in.
BUT ACT FAST as I only have🌟5🌟 available and they go fast!!!
I look forward to booking you in & I can’t wait to have a session with you 😊
Gail xx
GOOD MORNING MY LOVELIES 🤗
Today as usual is MINDSET MONDAY Pick & Mix
Following below are explanations of the suggestions in the image:
⭐️⭐️ Establish supports.
We’re not meant to go through this life alone.
We all need people in our lives that we can lean on with our frustrations and stresses.
Simply knowing that you’re not alone is a de-stressor.
🤔 Let your supports challenge you.
Most often we are stressed about something because we have unhealthy thinking habits that are causing us more stress.
While it’s tempting to talk to others that see things our way, we can try talking with a friend or family member who can challenge our perspective.
When we’re in the middle of a difficult situation, it’s easy to think only about the negatives.
Talking with someone who is willing to be honest with us, and help us see the bigger picture, can help bring us back up from a negative spiral of thoughts.
🤔 Know your priorities.
Though the demands of life can seem endless, we simply can’t do everything well.
If we’re not careful, we can easily become overcommitted and overscheduled.
🤔 Pick your battles.
When you know your priorities it makes it easier to pick your battles.
Engaging in every possible argument will leave you feeling more stressed and defeated, and you’re not likely to see progress.⭐️⭐️
What could you do each day this week to set your mindset for self growth & confidence?
As usual there are some suggestions below but you could find something else which may resonate better with you.
Which ones would you like to try?
Or do you already do something else?
If you do please share in the comments. It just might inspire others to give it a go.
I’m looking forward to see what you all think 😉
Until tomorrow, take care 😊❤️
GOOD MORNING!
There is nothing wrong with being lazy sometimes, especially when it happens to be the weekend. 😉😁
HAPPY SATURDAY TO YOU ALL!!! 🤗
