These are some terms I hear often. I don't believe in them. If you had 1 snickers a day you would still lose weight - Granted it wouldn't be healthy for you! If you are eating enough of the right foods there is no need to torture yourself if you just want to 'look good.' Everything in moderation is fundamental from Protein, Carbs & Fats.
Athletes will follow a very very strict diet because of their goals. Most people are not athletes. ππ½ββοΈποΈββοΈ
For a regular gym goer my advice is:
Focus on your Calories β
Get your macros Right β
Enjoy Life, balance is key β

Creatine is stored within muscles in small amounts. It is vital for energy during very intense activities over a 1-10s period such as:
100m Sprint ππ½ββοΈ
Powerlifting ππ½ββοΈ
Creatine is used in the cells of our muscles to help regenerate energy but there is a limited amount. It can take up to 4 minutes to be fully restored. If we can increase creatine stores we can improve our bodies capacity to maximally exert.

Found an old video, here is a good way to try the lying leg curl exercise.
EXERCISE
Lying leg curl
MUSCLES
Primary muscle - Hamstrings. Glutes isometrically contract
ADAPT
If your gym doesn't have a lying leg curl machine this is one way you can adapt it through the cable machine. Another way is through free weights. For better contraction control on the way down of the movement & HOLD for upto 3 seconds at the top.
