Wellness: Chair Yoga & Pilates Mix with Sarah-Jane

This class is for anyone who feels they would like to improve their mobility and muscle tone and would benefit from gentle exercise with support.

Most of the class will be seated however there may be some standing postures using the chair for increased stability for those that are able, but different options will always be available if you wish to remain seated.

Bath, A City To See And Be Seen – Whilst a place of resort since Roman times, Bath came into it’s own during the 18thC as a place of retreat and entertainment for the London establishment. This talk traces a visit that Peter included in one of his most popular Denman courses.

The session is suitable for all abilities, whether you’re new to exercise or have previous experience with yoga and pilates.

With lots of variety and options so that you can challenge your muscles safely, Sarah-Jane will teach some simple yoga flows to improve flexibility and balance, combined with fundamental Pilates exercises to improve core strength and muscle tone.

The class will begin with a gentle warm up and breathing exercise and will end with a short breathing relaxation.
