Here’s our fabulous Matt Jameson backstage meeting Queenz just before last night’s show. We are so thrilled to have the girls performing Main Stage and closing our UK Pride Doncaster on Aug 10. Drag is so important to our community, an art form, a visual representation of being who you want to be. The team behind UK Pride Doncaster want our pride to recognise and celebrate the huge contribution Drag performers have made to our community and in bringing UK Pride to a close with such a fabulous show is, for us not only fitting but essential.

Doncaster Pride meeting the Queen Consort at the Royal visit to Doncaster yesterday. We were amongst other organisations representing the voluntary and community sector that were invited to The Mansion House for the City status presentation event. We were honoured to be invited. The Queen Consort asked about the work pride does year round and was very pleased to hear we will be the host city for UK Pride 2024. She said she hoped we continue to develop and that our work championing diversity and inclusion is very important. She said “I hope your pride continues to be a great success”
