I used Greek Blue, Napoleonic Blue, Frida Blue and Provence on this piece along with some Gold leaf … all Annie Sloan of course!

I’m expecting the sea in the Channel tomorrow to be more Aubusson Blue (at best) … maybe Whistler Grey … we shall see 🤔

I finished transforming this chest of drawers a few weeks ago and totally forgot to show you the ‘finished’ pictures … so here you go!

Romance is not dead … today is our 18th wedding anniversary … so I’ve brought home not one but two paint brushes 😂

He’s a complete and utter superstar my husband! Not only does he put up with me day after day, he brings me tea in bed every morning, warms my cold feet every evening … and even better … he’s painting the chairs today … oh, how I loathe painting chairs 😂

I’ll bake him his favourite cake (Italian Apple cake) later and we’ll have a BBQ sitting at our freshly painted (Annie Sloan Versailles Chalk Paint) table and chairs 🥰🥰

It was a gorgeous day 18 years ago and it’s pretty special today too!

What a gorgeous shop!

Ok I know I’m biased and it looks extra fabulous in the sun … and it’s all bright and colourful and sunny and happy and is filled with soft fluffy cushions and beautiful lamps and as for the painted furniture well what more can I say other than the soaps … Savon de Marseilles you know … they smell so gorgeous oh and then there’s the fresh delivery of Gluggle jugs this week so we’ve got those in lots of different colours or maybe it’s the machine washable rugs that have caught your eye … great for indoors and outdoor use.

Ok time for me to take a breath, go and put the kettle on and calm down 😂

Anyone else get this excited when they rock up for work in the morning? 🥳

I still think it’s a gorgeous shop though 😂

These are from Tara who has been on a couple of my furniture painting workshops and is enjoying giving her 19 year old pine furniture a new look … great job Tara 👏👏👏

These have been freshened up using Annie Sloan French Linen and Old White and sealed with Matt Lacquer.

Tara isn’t actually local to me, but she still orders all her Annie Sloan goodies from me … either sending me a message or ordering through my website … and I simply send it winging its way to her in Fareham 🤩

This Victorian cabinet has been given a new lease of life with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Amsterdam Green finished with Clear Wax and lashings of Black Wax.
