*Newspaper appeal*
We use newspapers every day to line kennels and cages and help with clean up tasks around the practice and we are running low!
If you have any old newspapers that you normally recycle we would love if you could drop them in to either branch instead!
Congratulations to Hannah Brennan, who has been working at Brelades for 20 years! She is a fantastic vet Nurse and we are so happy she has chosen to spend the last 20 years with us. We hope she stays for 20 more!
*PET OF THE MONTH*
Tonga is a little spicy but we still enjoy seeing him and we hope his arthritis injections keep him moving and happy!
Mia is a chatty friendly girl who is desperate for cuddles whenever she is in!
We have had an old female tabby cat handed in. It was found in Nursey Close in Capel and has no microchip. If you think she might belong to you, please call us on 01306 883086
Pet of the month for June is Rafa, who looks very glamorous in his garden here!
May has been veterinary nurse awareness month. The role of a nurse involves nursing pets, anaesthetics, laboratory work, radiography, reception and consults! They are invaluable members of the team and we want to thank them for all their hard work
*COMPULSORY MICROCHIPPING*
From the 10th June 2024 all cats over the age of 20 weeks must be microchipped, even if they are indoor only. Microchipping allows us to reunite lost cats with their loving owners, ensuring they are returned home safely.
If your cat isn't microchipped, please call us to arrange this.

Well done Tyler!
Our February pet of the month is Alfie, a British short-haired kitten who had a condition called feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). Until a couple of years ago this was untreatable but now we are lucky enough to be able to fix most of these kitties! Here he is looking plush and gorgeous after finishing treatment!
Congratulations to Claudia, who has been nominated for vet of the year! We think she is fantastic and we are glad you do too!

Also, if you are looking to purchase a muzzle, particularly for the bigger faced dog breeds this website has lots of choices in lots of colours! https://www.themuzzlemovement.com/collections/muzzles
Bently visits us for two days every months and only has eyes for gravy bones!
