The end of an awesome 3 years!!

Thanks for popping in the last few days and emptying the shelves you really did us a favour I was worried I'd be living off bonbons forever!!

Thanks for the banter, the friendships we have made and the fun times it's definitely been a chapter of our lives we will look back on with fond memories

I've had a few messages from concerned customers about us and there really is no need to worry !!
We haven't gone bust or have any financial worries we simply decided not to renew our lease
Yes the downturn in custom over the past six months played a big part In that decision but I have a new job and we're looking forward to starting a new chapter with more family time and less cavity's

Please please keep supporting your local independents! You have some awesome businesses in Christchurch run by amazing local people and trust me EVERY penny you spend really does make a difference!! So go out and bloody use them as much as you can or you WILL lose them!!!

Where to start....
I guess it's best you all know we're closing for good on the 29th October!

We'd always hoped for granny's cupboard to be a more permanent thing but the down turn in custom over the course of this year especially over the summer has made us think over the last few months if it's worth while!
With no extra income over the summer to guide us through the winter and numbers still declining weekly we've made the decision not to renew our lease
It was a difficult decision but sometimes it's best to follow your head and not your heart!!

It's been a fantastic three years and we've loved every minute of being here and we feel that's how we'd like to leave it, I can't see there being a improvement anytime soon and as a family business we really do need to turn a consistent profit for it to be worthwhile!

We look forward to seeing you all over the next few weeks for the usual banter and of course to say goodbye
