Reward For Praying In Masjid Al-Haraam

From Abdullah Bin Az-Zubayr [رضي الله عنه] who said that the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said:

«صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ مِنْ الْمَسَاجِدِ إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ وَصَلَاةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ مِائَةِ صَلَاةٍ فِي هَذَا.»

❝Prayer in my Masjid is better than a thousand prayers in any other Masjid except Masjid Al-Haram and prayer in the Masjid Al-Haram is one hundred times better than this Masjid.❞

Farewell to Imam Shuraim | He was born on 15 October 1966 in Riyadh and raised in an orphanage.

Following his retirement as Imam of Masjid Al Haram 🕋 earlier this year, the Imam has kindly stepped down from leading Taraweeh Prayers at Masjid Al Haram too.

Sheikh Saud al-Shuraim is renowned for his smooth recitation style and for having one of the most distinctive and unique voices.

In 1991/1411, Sheikh Shuraim was made Imam and Khateeb of Masjid al-Haram, by the order of late King Fahd. Sheikh led his first Taraweeh in the year 1992.
