"On arrival for lunch our reservation was acknowledged and we were offered the choice of going to the external area for drinks or proceeding direct to our table. The decor and the ambience of the establishment continues to be both inviting and comfortable to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience. The menu is very good and is supplemented by daily specials. On this occasion I chose the special starter ( smoked Mackerel pate ) which was excellent. All of the food served was excellent and the attention to detail on presentation was a credit to all involved in the kitchen. The Pear en croute desert was a delight and when my wife enquired about how it was made the chef came out and spent time explaining how it was done. Throughout the whole meal all staff were attentive and friendly making the whole dining experience a delight."
