This is something that baffled me in this day and age, that women still seem to want to be handed from one man to another. It is one of the wedding traditions that makes me cringe somewhat.

I've just been to the website of a company that supplies some software I've been using a lot recently and discovered that they are based in Kharkiv in Ukraine, very close to the Russian border and one of the cities captured early in Russia's barbaric invasion.

Lots of bits and pieces for sale, some big, some small - have a look

Kit for sale - Jerry Fenner Photography As a result of some big changes to the way I work as a photographer, I've got lots of kit avail;ablke that need new homes to love and cherish them.

Alos available are a couple of pieces of white vinyl, one is 2.7m x (approx) 4m, and the other is 1.8m x (approx) 3.7m.

Both are a little bit scuffed but should clean up nicely with a bit of TLC and cream cleaner and both are FREE to collect from The Studio on the Hill in Bransgore.

Also in need of a new home and suitable for using with these vinyls is an aluminium pole, 2.8m long, and a plastic pole, approx 2.9m. Also FREE.

Now that The Studio on the Hill is largely complete, I just need to clear out some items that are now surplus to requirements.

This Lastolite Highlight background has served my well in the past for location white backgrounds. It's a little bit scuffed but these do not show in the photos and given how much use it has had over the years, it is in brilliant condition.

This was where I did my first ever nursery photoshoot all those years ago and I have such wonderful memories of many happy days spend here crawling around on my hands and knees, and often going home with an aching back as well as a smile on my face.

And I especially love that I am still in contact with so many people from my times working here.

It was sad to say goodbye not just to Cats Whiskers but all the nurseries and play groups when I decided to commit more time to being a foster carer.

He joined the team at Jerry Fenner Photography at The Studio on the Hill about 9 weeks ago and he is very handsome.

Though he is 9kg and not really a lap dog, he is currently asleep on my lap, though he is nearly falling off.
