Throughout May and June, our 🎱Annual Derivco Pool Competition 🎱brought together 35 talented participants for some thrilling and closely contested matches. In the end, our reigning champion Nick Stephens defended his title and took home the trophy 🏆 with Ben securing a well-deserved second place.

This event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues across the business and foster camaraderie 🦈

Meeting the next generation of tech enthusiasts at the Employment and Skills fair! 🚀 We shared insights into the IT world and discussed career paths. Regan, one of our most recent apprentices, flying the Derivco flag ⭐️ Bright futures ahead!

🏆⚽ When the going gets tough, our team gets going! We're excited to announce that we've emerged as champions at the Swagelok 5-a-side football tournament! 🥇⚽

Our players brought their A-game to the pitch, and we couldn't be prouder of their efforts. A big shoutout to our competitors for making it an unforgettable competition.

Saturday 14th October saw the first Swagelok Wellbeing 5-a-side football tournament in aid of Cancer Research in partnership with Manx Travel. The event was a lot of fun with some serious skills on display!

The well deserving event winners were Derivco (HUGE congratulations)!

Big shout out to The Children's Centre for hosting yet another fabulous evening of rounders! The team had a great time dodging, ducking and diving (wrong sport Jaco!). We didn't win, but it's the taking part that counts 😜 Same again next year! ⚾️

Throughout March and April we held the first Annual Derivco Pool Competition! We had over 50 employees enter and play over several knock out rounds, concluding with the grand final at the end of April. The top 4 from all rounds played in a well attended semi final and final, resulting in Nick Stephens taking the trophy!! 🏆

We also had the honour of the Island's only professional pool player (and local legend!) David Addinall referee the final, award the trophies, and play a few frames against the winner 🤩

Great to hold events like these, and get people to play against and chat to people they maybe don't get to in their normal working day.

Huge shout out to our amazing team of runners who completed The Children's Centre 🏃🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️Race the Sun on Saturday!

It was a glorious day and they managed to complete the 100 mile lap around the Island in 15 hours 41 minutes 🏆 well and truly beating the sun! 🥳

Huge congratulations to our very own Nhlanhla Nzama for running the London Marathon at the weekend in an impressive 2:44:17 ! This man is truly committed to running - you will likely spot him around Douglas doing a casual lunchtime 10km 🏃‍♂️

He is also one of our many long serving Derivkin's having reached his 15 years service this year. Big congrats and thank you sir! 👏

We had a blast celebrating our End of Summer "Frocial" on Friday! There's no better way to end off summer than with some great drinks, good food and the best company!

Finishing up Wellness Week with a very relaxing watercolour workshop with the lovely Nicole from Pigs Loves To Paint 🌿 We hope everyone has enjoyed our offerings on Campus this week 😊

Yesterday we had Ian Kirk from Inner Alchemy run a Wim Hof breathing workshop 😮‍💨 after which, participants could have an optional ice bath 🥶 Here is one of our apprentices Dan taking the plunge and loving it by the looks of it!! 😆 (4 apprentice points for you Dan!!)

We've had a week of really useful workshops hosted by Isle Listen 🇮🇲💚based around healthy lifestyles, supporting each other and coping mechanisms. We hope that those who attended managed to take something useful away from these sessions 🙂
