I feel like it's been a while. Sorry I've been busy crocheting and life and haven't done much content sadly. However I have got around to blocking this gorgeous virus stitch shawl, well its more of a scarf for the intended recipient. I get why its called virus stitch but does anyone else see owls?

The difference blocking this blanket was amazing. It went from kind of out of shape and floppy to a good holding shape but still had its drape and flow! I don't always block items but when I do the difference is incredible

Gifted this lovely baby blanket now. I made this up myself and I'm definitely making another one but slightly different. I'm really proud of how it came out.

I have to say that The Wendy Blanket was great at introducing me to modified sedge sitch which I've fallen in love with. It's simple but adds beautiful texture but doesn't take as much yarn as bobble, puff or popcorn stitch. You can use it by itself like this blanket which is stripes of Special DK colours and modified sedge stitch throughout or mix it with other stitches to add interest, definition and different textures. It's so snuggly even though it's a DK blanket instead of my usual aran and it's probably big enough for the whole family. It'll be in the post to it's forever home soon
