The Möbius strip is a one sided shape. That has perplexed physics. I composed this EP as a way to interpret this form in sound; why is simplicity confusing for science? The full EP is released 16th July.

Capturing the essence of time and repeated cycles in my new release ‘ möbius ‘ on all streaming platforms. Piano and analogue synthesisers create mesmeric future scapes. Repeating cycles, but somewhere we have the ability to change and shift on our seemingly cyclic journey. Filmed in the magnificent York Minster, the performance powerfully weaves together original music and contributions of poetry from an array of South Asian and British writers to create a mesmerising tapestry.’

It’s a gathering of unconscious mystic icons that trigger an inner grounding or fear for us all.”

The five tracks on the EP are:

‘The Sea’ for each of us it holds a connection in our own unique way.

‘Perigee’ is when the moon is its closest to the earth in its elliptical orbit.

‘Panthalassa’ is the mother sea which existed before all the seas were divided into the oceans we know today. The Pacific Ocean still holds some of this vast original sea when the land was Pangea.

‘Gibbous’ is the moon-phase which is greater than half but less than full.

‘Equus Ferus’ is the wild horse from which all domestic horses evolved, guiding and carrying humans since the beginning.
