We're looking for a dedicated Gym Instructor to join our team at Droitwich Leisure Centre! A shift has opened up starting 24th October - it’s a Saturday shift from 7:45am to 1:45pm.

💰 Pay: £11.44 per hour
💪 Perks: There’s potential to boost your earnings by offering Personal Training sessions, teaching classes, or covering additional gym shifts.

CLASS UPDATE ❗👇

Starting from Friday 4th October, the 7:00pm Circuits class instructed by Pete Robinson, will move to Studio 1 instead of the main hall.

This change will allow us to include more strength training using equipment like stationary bikes, kettlebells, and weights.

We have 3 roles available with the following hours:

35 hours per week
33 hours per week
24 hours per week

We're looking for two enthusiastic candidates to join our team and provide excellent customer service. Having an R.L.S.S National Pool Lifeguard qualification is beneficial, but we will offer training to successful applicants.

Candidates should ideally have an outgoing personality, good people skills, and be flexible to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK.

SWIM THE ENGLISH CHANNEL FOR CHARITY 🏊‍♂️

Take on a big challenge and raise money for people paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury. Swim the distance of the English Channel - 22 miles over 12 weeks! Whether you're solo or part of a team, this challenge is perfect for all ages and fitness levels.

📍 Where: Swim in your local pool, lake, or even the sea!

Every two hours, someone is paralysed by a spinal cord injury, and there is currently no cure. Aspire is there to provide essential support, advice, and services from the moment someone is injured. Your participation helps ensure they can live independently.

Droitwich is double proud tonight!!!

🏅 PARIS 2024 OLYMPICS - Congratulations to Droitwich’s Matt Richards! 🏊‍♂️

In case you haven't already heard, Matt Richards has won his first individual Olympic medal, taking silver in the men’s 200m freestyle at Paris 2024. He missed gold by just two hundredths of a second!

Matt started his swimming journey with us here at Droitwich Leisure Centre, and we couldn't be prouder of his achievement. 🏊‍♂️

Great job, Matt!

Well done to Droitwich's Matt Richards on a fantastic silver medal in the pool tonight in Paris. More opportunities for gold later this week.

Matt learnt to swim at Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre and was a member of the Droitwich Dolphins Swimming Club.

So, if you're feeling inspired then pop down to the pool. Even if you can't be an Olympian, it's still a great way to keep active.
