St Richards Canal Festival St. Richard’s Canal Festival is a great weekend for boat owners. Boats are moored either at Netherwich Basin or alongside the towpath in Vines Park. There is plenty to do during the weekend. The festival is a great way to meet other boaters and catch up with old friends.

Roadwork on Hanbury Road 14/03/2022-18/03/2022:

Resurfacing on the B4090 Hanbury Road over 5 days starting on Monday 14th March until Friday 18th March under a road closure between the Eagle and Sun Public House and the M5 overbridge near to the Hadzor turn. The closure will be between 09.30am and 3.00pm each day. Should these dates change due to adverse weather we will be advised accordingly.


The supervisor has advised us that work will be starting at the “Eagle and Sun” end and work towards Droitwich. It will take 2 days to get down to the Marina entrance so it will be day 3 (weds) when we are actually in the entrance. Staff/visitors to the site will have to park on the Hanbury Road within our closure and walk into the Marina on day 3. Access to the marina on days 1 and 2 will be from the Droitwich direction and on days 4 and 5 from the Eagle and Sun side.
