Today we have already had
❌FIVE ❌ no shows?!
We send email and sms reminders and will then also call the day before if we get no response or confirmation. This is plenty of opportunity to reschedule an appointment and be courteous to the dentist and other patients.

These wait times of 6-8 weeks could be reduced if appointments aren’t wasted on a daily basis and aid us with being able to see the patients that do attend their appointments

Reminder that 2 X failed to attends will result in you been taken off the system regardless of
circumstances
Children will also be taken off the system if they are continuously not being brought and may have to be seen under a private basis.

Any treatment started before 24th April with a signed treatment plan will stay at the current charge until completed.

Due to high demand, we are excited to annouce we have a new hygienist that has started with us. Her name is Alanna and she is working Wednesdays.

If you would be interested in seeing her please call the practice to book.
*Please note you need to have had a dental check up within the last 6 months.*

From 5th Jan 2023 we have had tp make the decision that when booking all hygienist appointments whether for Teresa or Alanna - a £20 non refundable deposit must be taken - which will then come off your bill. This can be done over the phone or in person. We didn’t make this decision lightly but unfortunately left with no option due to many patients failing to attend appointments.

We hope you understand and look forward to seeing you all

❌ FAILING TO ATTEND ❌

We are two weeks into June and have already had 9️⃣ hours worth of appointments wasted by patients failing to attend! That is one full working day…This is unacceptable in such unprecedented times especially when we have 40+ phone calls a week from people needing an NHS dentist ☎️ 🚫

The practice is working late nights and Saturdays to accommodate patients and their needs, so we would expect patients to respect this. If you have failed to attend a Saturday or late night appointment in the past or from now on, you will no longer be offered one going forward. We would also like to reiterate if you acquire 2 or more FTA’s in general, you will be struck off our book 📕
