Tori Barclay Dance Academy is excited to welcome our new faculty member to our Lyrical training company🕊️

MISS EVA FISHER 💗

Eva is a dedicated and accomplished dancer with extensive experience in various dance styles, including ballet, modern, contemporary and street dance.

Her journey in dance began at the young age of two, where she developed a strong foundation in ballet. Eva pursued her ballet training rigorously, progressing through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations and achieving her final Advanced Certificate. This demanding curriculum provided her with a deep understanding of classical ballet technique, performance artistry, and discipline.

Seeking to diversify her skills, Eva later expanded her dance repertoire by embracing modern and street dance styles. She successfully transferred the techniques and principles learned in ballet to these contemporary forms, competing at a high level across Scotland. This experience not only broadened her artistic expression but also honed her adaptability and creativity as a dancer.

Recognising her passion for dance education, Eva further advanced her training at the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, where she studied for two years. This period allowed her to refine her technical skills and deepen her understanding of contemporary dance practices.

Teaching has always been at the heart of Eva's dance journey. She is eager to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with the next generation of dancers, focusing on improving technique while fostering a love for free movement and creative expression. Eva's approach to teaching is rooted in the joy of dance, and she is committed to helping her students grow both technically and artistically

Tori graduated with a BA (hons) in dance from West London University which was studied at The Space, Kingsway Campus in Dundee. Former World street dance champion and current Scottish hip hop champion💥

Dance can improve your child’s social skills, creative ability and most importantly determination to be better - not just in dance but at home and school🔥

A week filled of learning - laughter and fun.

Last week some of our students headed to The UDO world street dance championships in Blackpool with their competitive training crew at momentum dance company. A MASSIVE congratulations to Connor and the students for grabbing some of the trophies🖤

Tori also headed down with them and competed with venom which grabbed 4th place in their category!

Kendall one of our assistants grabbed 1st place with her duo partner Casey!🏆🌍

All fees will be due on this date! If not paid within a week a £5 late charge will be added on.

Monday mini ballet at Fairfield 4-4:45 age 3-7

Monday contemporary at Fairfield 6-7 age 8+

Tuesday junior street at Fairfield 4:45-5:45 age 8-11
Tuesday lyrical at Fairfield 6-7 age 8+

Wednesday mixed style class at creative 4:30-5:15 age 3-8

Thursday senior street at Fairfield 6-7 age 12+

ALL classes will be £6 when we resume❤️ (this will be fixed for the whole year)

What an amazing 2 weeks at dance camp! Thank you to Fairfield Community Hub for providing us with funding to give the kids in Dundee a fabulous week of learning🔥Thank you also to Dundee bairns for proving food for the week 🍲 and last but not least a thank you to all my amazing assistants💫
