What a great day we had at the Caledonia Championships, very well ran feis and I managed to get home before 10pm 🙌

A wee mention to Orla and Macie who let the nerves get the better of them yesterday but despite the mistakes and mindblanks got back up for each dance...well done girls!

And finally it was lovely see Eimear back at a feis after taking some time out of competing to focus on her highers - 5As 👏

And that's a wrap for summer term! Thanks to all the dancers and their grown ups for the hard work, dedication and commitment in the last year. There has been lots of progress made, personal bests, tears and smiles, and countless memories!
We finished of the year with a successful presentation evening for our beginners and intermediate classes, and a lovely meal with our advanced dancers 💛💙

A massive well done to April’s dancers of the week.

Easter break done and dusted and have started our summer term in full swing with continued feis and grading preparations!

World Championships done and dusted for another year, and what a fantastic week we had in Killarney with our dancing family. So many laughs and lots of memories made 🌍 We only had 3 dancers this year yet our talented ladies added another 2 World solo medals to the McCann School's achievements 💙💛💙
🏅Orla got up there and gave it her all, such a hard working and dedicated dancer, and an excellent role model to all our dancers. We are absolutely delighted with your progress and success, and know there is more to come!
🏅 Maja we never thought you would manage to dance at Worlds this year after being out with an injury for 6 months, but your determination and work ethic got you through it and we were delighted you were able to get back up there!
And finally Ciara...we never thought we would see you back on any stage let alone the World stage, so after being out of dancing for 18mths and back for only 6 months we are proud of the courage you showed to get back up there, and with the right work ethic and mindset we will get that beautiful strong confident dancer shinning again!
To all our dancers, enjoy your Easter break as your teachers recharge the batteries, and we will be back next week ready for another hard working and busy dancing term 💙💛💙

Yesterday was last Day of Worlds 2024. Not the year for Ciara who unfortunately let nerves get the better of her, but the work starts now for next year! Lovely to see you back on the World stage after your wee break 🌍 😊

More success on day 2 ... well done to Maja placing 8th in the solo heavy jig in a fanatstic u15 age group. Such a hard worker, you should be so proud of yourself 💙💛💙

What a great weekend we had in Belfast& Ballymena this weekend at the Glenullin Championships. Thank you to the McNicholl School for such an organised, calm and enjoyable feis! The standard of dancing was excellent and our girls had a fantastic time! Great wee run out before Worlds for Orla, Maja and Ciara, lovely dancing, and some very good solo results. Well done to our little ones at their first Irish feis who also had some great results and podium places for cup dances 🏆🏅
