Well everyone that’s me signing off for another year. Been a busy few days so just want to wish you all a Happy New Year now before I call it quits for 2023.

I say it so many times but thank you all again for supporting not only my business but me as well.

Some of you I have known since my boys were in nappies and I am just so grateful for you all. You have watched my family grow and go through life as have I with you all.

To all new and old clients/friends I love you all.

I have no idea what 2024 looks like for us all but I can guarantee in the salon we are going to laugh, we are going to gossip, we are going to celebrate and going to cry. Thats 100% a guarantee and I can’t wait to share it all.

Big changes happening 🙈

So I have decided to study again 😳 petrified would be an understatement.

I am starting with the open university doing an access course in the hope of starting a degree next year. Along side this I have taken up a volunteering position. Don’t do things by halves.

I will still be running my business and it WONT BE GOING anywhere for the forceable future I love my job and that hasn’t changed but I’m not getting any younger either people 🤣 and this is something I have been interested in for a long time I just wasn’t ready.

So if you see me looking more tired and stressed than normal you know it’s because I have given myself even more to do than I already am doing with no extra time to do it 🤣. Pray for me ❤️

Hey everyone 🥰

I have never had to post this in all my years having my business & honestly I don’t even want to now.

As you all know I work very long hours and do everything I can to get everyone booked in sacrificing a lot to do so but I do it because I want to and because majority of you have been with me for as long as I can remember.

Recently I am getting a lot of people forgetting their appointments. Now I know that it’s genuine mistakes and sometimes this can’t be helped but it’s getting to often now.

I came home from holiday to two extremely busy weeks I am genuinely exhausted but was doing my absolute best to get everyone in that was due in or had gone longer due to my holiday.

These two weeks appointments have been like gold dust but over the last two weeks I have had numerous people mix up dates or forget their appointment.

I am in no way aiming it at anyone or trying to make people feel bad but it’s gotten to the point something has to give and I can’t just leave it now as it’s way more regular than it’s ever been.

I have weighed up the options of an online booking service which will then send reminders… this would stop me squeezing people in as it would just be the set times and would then mean extra costing which I have been trying to reduce but it would then also mean nobody would be in this position. This would change how things are done regarding booking etc but right now I don’t see another solution.

If anyone can come up with anything else they think might help before going down this route then I am all ears as me sitting texting everyone the day before just isn’t possible with the hours I work and admin I already do.

Sorry this is so long winded but I just can’t have this all the time when I am already working this much. Also this is then appointments someone else could have had.

The financial impact of this happening is obviously also an issue and honestly everyone is amazing and always tries to pay their missed appointment but morally I don’t want someone paying for a service they didn’t receive.

If you got to the bottom of this thank you and please please please nobody take offence to this it’s not supposed to be offensive in anyway but this week alone 4 people have missed appointments.
