That's a wrap on our incredible Dad's Army run! It was an absolute blast bringing this classic comedy to life on stage. We poured our hearts and souls into every performance, and we hope it showed.

As we say goodbye to Dad's Army, we're excited to announce our upcoming November production, "The Steamie." Get ready for a nostalgic and hilarious journey inside a Glasgow wash house.

Due to unforeseen circumstances casting cannot take place on Tuesday 18th June and will instead happen solely on Thursday 20th June, at 7pm.

An email of this update has been sent to all people who registered their interest and DDS members. The theatre will likely be closed on Tuesday night.

Both men and women (18 years +) are needed.
Acting roles and backstage roles (lighting, stage managing, prompting, props, wardrobe, front of house) required.

The play is made up of 3 separate episodes.
🎭The Deadly Attachment (Don’t tell ‘em Pike)
🎭Mum’s Army
🎭The Godiva Affair

Speaking parts for at least 12 men (mix of ages, Pike is youngest of them all) and 6 women (3 specifically younger women). If we have to double up roles, this may mean some female characters will double up with male characters.

⏰Casting is 18th and 20th June 2024 (must attend both days).
⏰Rehearsals will be every Tuesday and Thursday. Monday is set construction night.
⏰Play is 4th -7th September 2024 (matinee & evening on 7th) - availability will be needed all that week Mon-Sat.
