It's not long now until our queens take to the stage of the Reid Hall, so it's time you meet the final star of our show, Mitzi, played by Tom Richmond.

Mitzi, also known as Tick, is the main protagonist of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and Tom is having so much fun stepping into their shoes (even the ones with the heels!) He says, "Rehearsals are always exciting and uplifting and I always leave with a smile on my face. In what other musical do you get to have all that fun, and have a storyline that is so beautifully written, with such great songs?"

The music is one of the reasons Tom thinks audiences are going to love the show:
"It's a heartwarming, laugh out loud show packed with camp hits including 'It's Raining Men', 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun', and 'I Will Survive'. Add in a big pink bus, drag queens, some wayward ping pong balls, and a cast who wear everything from flip flop dresses to giant cupcakes! Priscilla is a brilliant night out that Forfar won't forget. Funny, touching, a little bit naughty and as camp as you can imagine - it's not to be missed!"

It's time to meet our queens! Keep your eyes peeled over the next few weeks as we introduce you to our fabulous cast. Tonight we are starting with Felicia, played by Hugh Johnstone, who is no stranger to Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

He says, "I’m playing Adam/Felicia, having previously played Tick/Mitzi. I'm really looking forward to playing the opposite role in the show, and gaining a new perspective. It’s all part of my game plan to be the only person in Scotland to have played all 3 queens in the show!"

Even though Hugh has performed in another production of the show before, he is still loving the rehearsal experience.

"What I’m loving is making new friendships while bringing this fabulous show back to the stage."

And what does he think audience will love about the production?

"People should come see the show because it has the most fabulous music, it’s full of hilarity, outrageous costumes, and most importantly, a beautiful story of friendship and acceptance."
