Boxing Day with the cousins 🩷
Just some Christmas snaps 🫰🤍🎅🏼♥️🎄🎁
Ready for Santa 🎅🏼 Tommy’s 1st Christmas 😭 Happy Christmas Eve ♥️🎄
Just some Christmas fun 🎄♥️ 🎅🏼
Little sister visit 🤍
We went for a walk at Beechenhurst that is normally 40-60mins depending on how slow you walk. It’s a sculpture trail. We took a wrong turn and walked for 2.5 hours 😂 well actually we both swear the sign pointed this way so I think they need to make adjustments 😂
1) I was carrying Tommy the whole time, he’s not light anymore, so I think I should be in the SAS.
2) I started to think about how I may have to forage for food 😂
3) We eventually turned our phones Sat nav on to get back 😂 At least I got 14000 steps 😂
4) I don’t like Tommy being in the carrier for that long but it was a mistake 🤣😭 He fell asleep and seemed pretty content, he loves leaves 🤣
So, I posted this in our commit to 6 group but I thought it would be great to share as I know lots of mummies now 😅🥰🤍 I have elaborated a bit 😃 it was about the importance of instilling healthy behaviours around food and eating with your children 🩵 About how this can be an extra reason for you to start your journey 😊 not just doing it for you, but for them 😇
Firstly, just a picture of my cutie, having fun 🤩 just making sure he gets his protein 🤣🤣🤣
Egg for a main and yogurt with prunes for dessert 😅😅😅 He sat at the table with us tonight. It was so cute watching him copy us and watch us eat while making a mess 😅
Anyway back to the post 🤣 So, some of the check ins from C26 have talked about how they are here not only for them but for their family. To set up good relationships with food for their children 🩵 This makes me so happy!
It really made me think a lot more about the importance for us to get this in check for everyone we love. It is crazy the influence you have on the rest of their life. If there isn’t enough pressure 😂
If you haven’t already talked to me about this, maybe it’s another external reason for you to be here on C26 or to start your health and fitness journey 🥰 External goals are always so important and I feel like this is a big one 😜
Parents play a significant role in shaping their children’s eating habits. The food choices, mealtime environment, and attitudes toward nutrition that parents model can greatly impact a child’s preferences and approach to food 🤓🤍
Encouraging a balanced and diverse diet, involving children in meal preparation, and fostering a positive atmosphere around food can contribute to healthy eating habits as children grow 😇
Who is here for this?! 🍑🥬🥖🍳
Bit late posting to my wall but here we go!
and I have our own podcast 🧚♀️
We now have three episodes out: introducing us; one episode each, and then our third one is starting to introduce and talk about barriers people may face in their health and fitness journey (focussing on mum life by accident ) 😅🤓🥰
It’s a lot us of getting side tracked and over sharing really 😂😂😂
I hope you enjoy them and ill share the podcast link in my bio 🩵 but they’re available and found easy by search’s Squats and Snickers (thank AI for that name 🤣🤣🤣)
If you have any topics you’d like us to cover please send me a message or post on here 🤓

Goals and journeys are never linear! So don’t feel bad if yours isn’t perfect. It’s easy to focus on the negatives and lose your way. Here are a few things that can maybe help you 😊
1) Remind yourself of your goals and values, and maybe even write them down somewhere so you’re reminded of these daily.
2) Journaling can help you understand your behaviours and allow you to focus on the positives 🥰
3) Focus on these positives- even if there aren’t as many as you’d like. Imperfect action is better than no action!
4) Looking ban at how far you have come can be so rewarding and sometimes the boost you need to continue 🥲
5) Reset. Daily actions can drift. It happens to the best of us. Just listen to podcast episode in this and understand why and how 😇 A new boost to pick yourself back up!
6) Set realistic non negotiable actions for the week/day. This allows you to complete mine action goals sending you on a positive path to hit more targets 🤩
Fire me any questions if you’re struggling 🙂
Family and Tommy being cute 🥰
“Shall I reduce my calories?”
“I’ve not lost weight and I’m doing everything right…but I didn’t track when I was out on Saturday, i had a takeaway, I didn’t get my step targets these days…”
Sound familiar? Unless you’re nailing your targets, there isn’t any point in reducing your intake just yet. The story will stay the same without consistency 🥹🤗
Try smashing your targets for a few weeks then reassess this 🤍
Tommy watching his first Hereford Rugby game 🥰 supporting his Daddy obviously 🥲
He’s just perfect 😭
Does any other parent get nervous about the fact that this world is just not a nice place and worry how it will effect their little babies?! 🥺
I just want him to be this happy all the time. This naive to all the ugliness out there. And by ugliness I mean hatred and the trolls and bullies ❌ I wish they would disappear 🫠
I feel like I already want to destroy anyone who hurts him in the future 😂😂😂😂 I’m going to get back to my karate 🥋so I’m ready 🤣🤣🤣
A major reason why goals or diets fail is the mindset behind that goal, diet or change. I recently found this phrase ‘thought distortion’ (is it a phrase? 🤔😆) and it covers nearly all the conversations I have when helping out clients 🥹 The thing is, once you’re aware of this, you can now try to ‘reframe’ how you are thinking in a positive way 🤍 I hope this helps 🤗
Thought distortion refers to patterns of thinking that are inaccurate, irrational, or negative. These distortions can lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, or other emotional challenges. Some common types of thought distortions include:
🔸All-or-Nothing Thinking: Seeing situations in black-and-white terms, without recognizing the middle ground or considering the nuances.
🔸Catastrophizing: Expecting the worst possible outcome, even when there is little evidence to support such a belief.
🔸Mind Reading: Assuming you know what others are thinking, often in a negative way, without clear evidence.
🔸Overgeneralisation: Drawing broad conclusions based on isolated incidents or limited evidence.
🔸Labeling and Mislabeling: Attaching negative labels to oneself or others based on specific behaviors or mistakes.
🔸Personalisation: Assuming that events are directly related to you, even when they may not be.
🔸Should Statements: Using words like "should," "must," or "ought to," which can create unrealistic expectations and lead to feelings of guilt or frustration.
🔸Discounting the Positive: Minimizing or dismissing positive experiences or accomplishments.
🔸Emotional Reasoning: Believing that because you feel a certain way, it must be true, without considering objective evidence.
🔸Fortune Telling: Predicting negative outcomes in the future without sufficient evidence.
It's important to recognize these distortions to challenge and reframe them. This can lead to more balanced and constructive thinking patterns, ultimately improving mental well-being. If you find yourself struggling with thought distortions, consider seeking support from a mental health professional. They can offer guidance and techniques to help address these patterns.

Let’s all celebrate 3 months of little pips 🥳🥲🥰
Can’t believe it 🥹 Just the cutest bundle of joy 🥲
Barriers to exercise exist for everyone. It’s about identifying these barriers and coming up with a plan to overcome them 🤓
I have more barriers then I have ever had before and this experience really does allow me to understand mums everywhere 🤍
I’m sorry if I never truly understood this before I had a squidge of my own 🥲 I’m sorry if I ever said ‘if you want it, you will make time’ - making time sometimes isn’t the biggest barrier, it’s the fatigue, the need to just be alone sometimes, the fact you’re breastfeeding and your baby just wants you 24/7, maybe the time you have spare, you just need to eat! I now get this 🥰
It’s hard. I’m finding my feet now which is feeling so good 😊 It’s not structured, as routine definitely doesn’t always go to plan with a newborn 😆 but it’s happening 🤩
What are your biggest barriers?
Some photos from the little adventures Tommy and I have had this week 🤍
