About Kumon Dunfermline
The Dunfermline Study Centre opened in 2008 and has grown in strength along with the students who have come through its doors. Many of the students at the Dunfermline Study Centre have begun the Kumon programmes on the recommendation of other Kumon students and their families.
Situated on the edge of Dunfermline town centre, it is easy to find. Students attend class for approximately half an hour per subject where they complete their work, amend any corrections they may have, collect their work for the coming week and speak with the Instructor before they leave.
At the Dunfermline Study Centre, the Instructor is supported by eight excellent assistants who support students by marking and recording their work, working with students on their reading and oral maths, and supporting early learners. In class, students also have the opportunity to read a variety of books from Kumonβs comprehensive Recommended Reading List.
The current ages of students at the centre range from four to 14 years. The Kumon Maths and English Study Programmes are suitable for students of all ages and abilities as the Instructor tailors the programme to suit each individual child and ensures students have a good foundation before embarking on advanced study.
