CR Smith hosted its annual charity event, 'The Shoot' on Sunday 11th August at Auchterhouse Country Sports near Dundee. This year we supported Maggie's, JDRF and Seamab School, raising a staggering £400k, making it our most successful year to date.
We had a great turnout with over 400 guests and support from volunteers across CR Smith and beyond to ensure the smooth running of the day.

Since 'The Shoot' began in 2001, it has raised £4.4 million for a range of charities and we are already looking forward to next year!

CR Smith is thrilled to welcome six new apprentices to our bespoke apprenticeship programme! 🌟
Our apprenticeship programme started 15 years ago in partnership with Fife College intending to tackle skill shortages while also instilling a deep understanding of quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.

The new recruits have already secured their City & Guilds SCQF Level 5 PDS in Carpentry and Joinery at Fife College and over the next year all six will work closely with the experienced CR Smith team. Benefitting from one-on-one mentorship and real-world experience as joiner's mates, they will continue their classroom studies two nights a week at Fife College and by the end of the year will be fully qualified, time-served joiners.

We are delighted to welcome them all to the team and look forward to seeing their development over the next year 🚀🔨
