Everyone at Boyle’s bar are saddened to learn of the passing of Dinny O’Neill, our friend, neighbour and valued customer.

Dinny was a hard working man, who enjoyed the company of everyone regardless of their age. Quiet in nature, he was well regarded by all.

The loss of a loved one always leaves an empty chair and here is no different. All who knew Dinny will know there’s an empty seat in the corner here too.

On behalf of everyone in Boyle’s Bar, we extend our deepest sympathy to the O’Neill family, Rosie, Kieran, Donal (Joe), Paul, Emma & Fintan, Dinny’s brothers and sisters and also to the wider O’Neill family circle.

We assure them of our thoughts and prayers at this sad and difficult time.
May Dinny now Rest in Peace.

Everyone at Boyle’s Bar are saddened to learn of the tragic, untimely passing of John Paul Nugent.

JP as he was affectionately known as was one of life’s greatest gentlemen, so kind, genuine, held in highest regard and esteem by all at Boyle’s Bar and will be truly missed by everyone!

As a family, former neighbours in the village and on behalf of all our customers we would like to extend our sincerest sympathy, thoughts and prayers to Mickey Eamonn, Caroline & JP’s family, friends and his partner Sinéad at this very difficult time.

As a valued customer of Boyle’s Bar Cappagh, once we are allowed to reopen our doors there will be a complimentary pint or two of Guinness in the keg for Big Hughie. Looking forward to welcoming you back again, hopefully sometime soon! 😁

Boyle’s bar is reopening tomorrow - Thursday 24th September @ 7pm. The bar will be open Thursday to Monday’s (closed Tuesday & Wednesdays)
