Just want to jump on quick to let you all know I won't be at the next market in 2 weeks time. Not usually being a fan of Christmas anyway, this year's been made that little bit harder with my dad being unwell, so he won't be at home for Christmas. I will be back sometime after the new year, so until then keep er lit and much love 💞

Unfortunately, due to absolutely sh*tty circumstances, I won't be at the market today. I had so many wee bits n bobs to show but I don't want to be turning up if my head's not right. Apologies all! Much love!

Evening folks!! The 1st of December and only 24 more sleeps to the big day! I've been busy making small bits n bobs and will have more photos later but it will be my biggest display at Tyrone Farmers' Market, Dungannon in Tesco's carpark and we're on to the extended time of 2pm tomorrow!!! I'll have everything from cheeseboard sets to baubles and paintings! If you haven't got started yet, tomorrow is a fine place to start, so please come see me and if you purchase something you might get a happy dance as it really means so much to us crafter's!

Annnnnd that's a wrap on my first ever teaching gig! 8 weeks with the best lads ye could have asked for, I was nervous before it started wondering how to get 14 young lads interested in art! They were an absolute pleasure to teach and listened to most instructions easily!
I genuinely don't know what I'll do with my Wednesday evenings now but I know this won't be the last time I'll be teaching!! Massive thank you to 1st Caledon Boys' Brigade especially Helen for choosing me for your workshop!!

What's new for Saturday you say, well I got myself a branding iron with my logo and I'm putting the finishing touches to these stunning cheeseboard sets. Both come with a set of cutting knives for the cheese. The 1st is bamboo and the 2nd is acacia wood and comes with three ceramic portion dishes. Limited amount in stock at the moment! 2nd last week with the lads from 1st Caledon Boys' Brigade and once again they absolutely smashed it! Im definitely gonna miss the lads after next week, it's been an absolute privilege! Even Helen got stuck in and she done a fantastic job too!

First and foremost, what these young gentleman accomplished in 4 weeks is nothing short of amazing!
Pyrography is by no means an easy craft to take to, let alone being able to produce something with 4 hours practice, the effort shown was incredible, so massively well done to all the lads and thank you for allowing me to teach you my craft, it made for an enjoyable 4 week session, thank you!!

This evening I taught them how to do shading and how to position their designs ready for transfer. Next week they'll be starting their Christmas designs!

One of the young lads mum sent this to the lady thats organised the pyro class with the tagline "what have you started" and it's just made my soul so happy! Had you of told me 5 yrs ago I'd be teaching my skill, I'd of laughed at ye and rightly so, I had so much more to learn and so much more confidence to gain! So much more yet to come!!!!!

After almost 9 years into pyrography I had my first ever teaching experience! What an absolute privilege to pass on the knowledge to a younger generation. Massive well done to the lads in 1st Caledon Boys' Brigade for their excellent work tonight. Didn't manage to get many photos but I will next time!!
