A very Happy Birthday to our Frances on Friday! She shared out her cake with us all but that meringue was gone in seconds! 🤤😋

Pat enjoyed a visit from her dog Georgie, this week! Such a happy and loving dog! 🥰

We have the perfect view to watch the cruise ships on the Clyde! 😍

Thank you so much to Kirn Primary School for inviting us up to your Community Tea! We had an absolute ball! The tea, coffee and cakes were flowing and delicious and the children’s Scottish Viking opera was amazing!!
We were very impressed and delighted to bring home some sunflowers for our garden! 🌻🌻🌻
Thank you also to Pingo for Dunoon, Cowal and Campbeltown for getting us there and back safely, as always! 🚌

Georgina enjoyed a catch up with her husband Denis on the phone while looking out at the beautiful view this evening!

This weekend we’ve been exploring what our company values look like to us. Ishbel helped put the board together to display our lovely examples and we welcome anyone visiting the home to add their comments and thoughts.

We had some residents from Ashgrove Care Home join us today for an afternoon Karaoke Tea party! Thank you to Helen, Jimmy and John for coming along!
What a laugh we all had! John stole the show (and the mic) and hit all the right notes to have us all singing along and tapping our feet!
We look forward to visiting you for the next get together! 🥰

Margo has been working hard to improve her mobility, her goal is to be able to greet her family at the front door, when they visit from abroad, here she is practicing! Well done Margo and keep up the good work! 🥰

Margo and Pat went out on the Tri shaw today, what a beautiful day for it!
Margo said she took great joy at giving everyone ‘the Royal wave’ as they zoomed past!

The staff and visiting families got involved with balloon games with the residents this afternoon. The lovely sound of laughter was heard in every area of the lounge 🎈😂🎈😂🎈😂🎈😂

Our head chef JP made an incredible toffee apple sponge cake with toffee sauce and a scoop or two of ice cream.

This was enjoyed by residents, staff and also the workmen in the home today 🔟/🔟

This week at Ardenlee care home, we are proud to be taking part in Awareness week.

Thank you so much to Duncan with the befrienders for this fun service, it’s great to get out on the bike and enjoy the sunshine, and even better that it’s not us that are doing the peddling! 😂

Jean helped to arrange the flowers for our dining table centre pieces! Beautiful bunches of flowers to brighten up our dining experience! 🌹🌷💐
