Hatfield College Golf Society
Welcome to Hatfield College Golf Society! We are a new society which caters to all abilities, from total beginners to low handicappers. Come give golf a try!
We plan to offer trips to the range and golf days with discounted green fees (Covid permitting).
Hey everyone, hope you're all settling into the new term. We'll be announcing our plans for this term shortly, so look out for that. If any of you do go out playing, do share it on here, everyone likes seeing bombs being hit.
Your loyal captain,
James
Ladies and Gentlemen, your captain has shown up today. Please enjoy this walk through of a lovely chip in for birdie on the 11th at Brancepeth.
We'll be at the Hatfield Freshers' Fair on the 29th September, can't wait to see you all there!
Very pleased to introduce our President and Treasurer for the year ahead, James Dodsworth and Sam Napier-Smith! They'll be responsible for the running of the society this year, and have some great ideas for the society.
**FINAL INFORMATION FOR HCGS TOURNAMENT PLEASE READ**
followign some last minute changes, please see the official tee times.
* We will be playing off the WHITE TEES, and as this is a stableford competition, there will be NO GIMMIES
*Each pair will submit a best ball score, which will be marked by the other pair in the group.
* For clarity... you put your opponents score in column A, and your own score in the "marker" column on the left.
* There is a closest to pin prize on the second hole. Please move the ball marker closest and write your name on the paper provided if necessary.

Please like this post to confirm your attendance at the event. There are several players on the reserve list waiting for a place to open up.
Furthermore, each four-ball must organise one player to collect the £120 (£30 each) for the collective group, in order to limit the number of players entering the Brancepeth Pro Shop. You must arrive in good time for your tee-time (at least 15 mins early).
The maximum handicap is 20. If wishing to play with a handicap please comment this below. There is also a ‘nearest the pin’ competition on the 2nd hole. Please only move the marker if your shot is inside it.
Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
