Our Full-time MBA students recently visited Hitachi, Ltd. -Global (Newton Aycliffe) to get an insider’s perspective!

They explored the supply chains, project management and logistics required to ensure that the trains get from shell products delivered by lorry to the factory, to fully equipped trains across the length and breadth of the UK.

Dr Joanna Berry said: "As one of our students commented, it was great to see a top class, international-scale manufacturing supply chain brought to life in such an immediate and meaningful way; we hope to return to Hitachi again next year."

Proud to say that our Online MBA was again ranked in the World Top Ten recently by the Financial Times!

The programme was also ranked first in the world for the ‘international mobility’ strand, calculated on the basis of citizenship and work location pre- and post-MBA!

We had lots of students, staff and guests (including students from Emmanuel College - pictured with Julian) come to hear Julian speak about topics such as how Richer Sounds has been able to withstand competition from Amazon and the decline in the traditional retail model.
