For those Clarkson’s Farm fans out there, we are now stocking the Hawkstone Session Lager. Sold as an easy drinking beer, we can confirm that it is particularly moreish and refreshing. Come along this weekend to try it out!

Graduation Week at 33 Durham!

We are really excited for the graduands to celebrate their ceremonies next week. We will be open all week from 2pm-2am from the 25th June to the 3rd July to keep the drinks coming! We have just introduced a reservation system on our website, and strongly encourage to book a table to avoid disappointment.

Meet Corey our General Manager

Corey has recently joined us as our new General Manager and has done some incredible transformations over the past few weeks. He is keen to keep pushing 33 to its full potential, and will be introducing a new menu over the coming weeks with fresh cocktails and a new shot menu.

If you manage to catch Corey mid whirlwind, he enjoys chatting about musical theatre, Sunderland AFC, and his weekend drives around scenic Durham.

‘The Spins’

Cachaça, passion fruit, and gomme, shaken over ice and topped with ChariTea sparkling maté tea. Deliciously refreshing and sweet, this cocktail deceptively holds 75ml of Cachaça. This cocktail is one of many launching on Friday, come along to try the full range our new menu!

Our Espresso Martini

Wanting to make the most of the bank holiday? Our Espresso Martini will keep you up all weekend, with a freshly pulled shot of espresso mixed with vanilla vodka and mr black cold brew liquer. A classic sweet martini with a strong hit of coffee behind it, enjoy!

Our Passionfruit Martini

Another classic cocktail perfected by our bartenders. With vanilla vodka, passionfruit liqueur, pineapple juice, and lime. This cocktail is an easy drinker, and consistently delicious. Served a shot of our house champagne for extra decadence.

A few classic gins from our dry gin collection:

Mermaid Gin: A contemporary gin from the Isle of Wight, with 10 ethically sourced botanicals.

No. 3: A multiple award winning London dry gin with a balance of the 3 gin botanicals; juniper, citrus, and spice.

Beefeater 24: Classic beefeater gin enhanced with sencha, green tea, and grapefruit zest.

Each of our gins works wonderfully in a classic martini or paired with one of our tonics.

Our Aviation Cocktail

Made with Aviation gin, this cocktail is a lovely light but strong drink. Flavoured with violette, lemon, and maraschino cherry for a flavour reminiscent of parma violet.

Devil’s Smoke Cocktail

The Devil’s Smoke is one of our signature cocktails, a favourite from our menu. Made with smoked tequila, honey, fresh lime, and topped with red wine. This cocktail is sweet, smoky, and delicious with layers of flavours intermingling as you drink.
