We have been made aware that there are some issues with the SU website when registering for self-nominations.
Anyone that attempted or did submit a manifesto on the SU portal should send their manifesto again to [email protected] with the email title “DPOCA APPLICATION” followed by role title where they will be forwarded to the SU to be manually submitted.
Meanwhile, our elections have unfortunately been put on hold and we hope that this will be resolved shortly - still we encourage everyone interested to prepare manifestos and continue to ask us questions in the meantime!

I beg of all of you amazing activists get involved and apply for this, this has been years of fighting and you’ll be the next part of radical change in this Uni, do apply please! And please don’t let this get pacified into “apolitical” work of inclusivity rather than moulding it into radical act of liberation and resistance in truly decolonising the pedagogy and the institution from the ground up.
Our SU UG Academic officer Nailah Haque SU and Sam Johnson-Audini before her have done an incredible job in getting this up and running so please don't let this hard work go to waste! Whether it’s setting the wheels in motion or carrying it across the finish, we all have a role to play, your contribution doesn’t always have to be revolutionary.
