Today we said goodbye to Helen Barker but she will be forever in our memories!

What a wonderful life she lead and what a kind, brave woman she was. Forever missed but never forgotten. ❤️

*NEWS*

Betty Bee’s and Honey Bee's Gifts and Events (our sister business which focusses on workshops, special events and gifts) will be making some changes/improvements over the coming weeks and months.

As a small family business, these changes will take time ⏰ but to start with, we will be opening at the earlier time of 8.30am from Wednesday through to Saturday.

🕰️ From 8.30am - 10am, we will be open for coffees/teas and cakes, eat in or takeaway. During this time we will also be baking, so more will be added to the counter throughout the morning.

🗓️ This will begin this new opening time from this Wednesday (21st August)

Keep a look out for further changes as we negotiate our way through these improvements. 😀

We sold out of hot beef about 90mins ago but fear not…we will have more tomorrow!

Open until 4 today…we are busy refreshing our counter as lots sold out, but still plenty to choose from! 🥰

It’s that time of the month again (1st Friday and Saturday of the month) when our beautiful beef joint and been in the slow cooker ready to be served today in a fluffy white bun along with some gravy.

Get yourself to Betty Bee’s today to grab yourself one…eat in or take away but only while stocks last!

Loads of home-made baked goods available too plus a range other sandwiches/paninis.

Two of our lovely customers are participating in the Great North Run this year! 🏃‍♀️

We have a bucket for coin donations and also a QR code to donate online!

Your support would be appreciate for this amazing, local cause…St Cuthbert’s Hospice.

We will be thinking of the lovely Alf today. We’re sorry we cannot attend the funeral but our thoughts are with his family and friends. Alf, we will always remember you and miss our conversations and laughs here at Betty Bee’s. ❤️
