The classes will run from 1330hrs 60 to 90 minutes per class Tuesdays 25th June, 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd July 2024 at The Zen Den 11 Grove Street Retford DN226JP
What you can expect from the classes.
You will learn so much more than just a massage routine.
The comprehensive course covers touch, movement, relaxation, interaction and includes relaxation time for mums and dads too.
We will massage baby’s legs, feet, arms, chest, stomach, face, back and learn some gentle movements for baby and a routine for colic.
There is also time to chat with the other parents and have informal discussions about all things baby related. If your partner is off or would like to join you, they are very welcome to.
During the classes you are welcome to bring other relatives along, although these classes are designed only for parents to massage their babies to build the relationship and emotional connection.
There are massage dolls available for anyone who would like to learn the strokes and use a doll for massage and if your baby is asleep or crying as we never massage babies in these behaviour states.
We will go over the previous strokes at each class, so you have a chance to practice.
Classes are relaxed and very baby led – it's totally fine for you to change your babies during the class, to breast or bottle feed, for your babies to sleep throughout the whole course (it happens!) or for them to cry. Please feel free to attend to your baby's need as they need you. .

Refreshments will be provided so if you have any allergies or dietary requirements please let me know.

Photography opportunities will be made available at the end of each class a set up for babies achievement will be provided at each session to take your own photos of your baby on your device and if you would like to provide any photos to represent International Association of Infant Massage there is a consent form that can be filled in to do so.

After the last class you will gain a certificate of completion and for those parents who want to do so, hand and feet prints using natural based baby friendly paint can be made as a momento of the course.
