Glenesk Care Home

Please see attached letter regarding closure of Queen Street next week and the week after for resurfacing. From Monday 21st October, Queen Street will be closed from Pelham Road to the station. During this week, if driving in, please access from Babworth Road direction. From Monday 28th October, the other half of Queen Street will be done, so please access from the direction of the station. There may be some delay for access, but there should be people there to help. They have assured us that they will allow emergency vehicles through quickly. These timelines may change due to weather etc. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

What can I say, we are so grateful to see everyone today, you all made today special, I am amazed that you all took time out to come and join us for the summer fate, some special memories and made, new friends made.

Taking advantage of Wimbledon, we have been busy making tennis rackets, playing balloon tennis and eating strawberries & cream, all in one day.

Following a very busy weekend, which on a personal level I would like to say a massive thankyou to all that came to support us, and our amazing staff team that helped out some whilst on shift and some in their own time, we decided to have a quieter day, picking flowers and making fairies, such a magical thing to do I think you would agree.

What a successful car wash today, we raised a whopping £352.50 for our residents fund!! Thank you to all who came, all who helped, all who bought cakes and those who made cash donations. Blessed to have such an amazing staff team and be based in a place as lovely as Retford 🥰
