We remain true to our origins, where plants and the environment are at the heart of all our decision making.

*** The time has come to find a new home for our lovely 4 alpacas but a good home is paramount. They are all halter trained and very friendly (if a bit aloof at times!) They are all entire males with excellent breeding lines which has been essential for knowing they have a lovely temperament and fantastic fleece micron. If you know of anyone that would be interested in purchasing them, please DM to arrange a chat or to come and see them. My preference would be they go somewhere as pets and live out their natural lives. They are very easy animals to look after, requiring shearing once a year and a winter check, and a decent size paddock with a shelter (not that they ever go in ours unless there is food!) *** nb - it does say above to purchase, we've been inundated with messages offering to take them 'off our hands'! A good home, is essential.

The EVENTS section on this page show you what’s coming up and REMEMBER every Thursday, Friday and Saturday morning at 7am is our complimentary START-YOUR-DAY session where we spend 45mins with a streamed combo of affirmation, meditation, stretching, breathwork and horse stance movement to finish off. Everyone is welcome. Affirming your goals REALLY works - the changes at Sunrise are absolute proof! We received some lovely donations in the form of book recommendations, good intentions and a lovely posy of spring flowers picked fresh from the garden. Our Story

Sunrise Plants started in March 2015 and quickly grew to being one of the most popular garden centres in the region. Unusually for a garden centre, we pretty much only sell plants! We receive direct deliveries from the very best in Dutch and English growers several times a week and buy direct from the Dutch auction houses, ensuring the selection and value is second to none. Our plants will be FRESH often from grower to you within 24 hours. Due to customer demand, in 2018 we began plans for a small in-house coffee shop, which is due to open early November 2018. The Jackfruit Coffee Shop will offer a simple but nutritious range of food and drinks, and like our garden centre, will be ‘plant centric’ and probably a little bit eccentric! If you love plants and vinyl records, it’ll be a place for you. In keeping with all things fresh, our in-store fruit & veg shop, The Garden’s Greengrocers (opening late October 2018) will be full to bursting with the most colourful and the freshest fruit and vegetables from around the world. It will also be the main source of ingredients for our coffee shop - fresh is BEST! In addition, we have also opened a ZERO WASTE SECTION in our greengrocery stocking rices, pulses, beans, nuts, cereals and seeds plus liquid refills for household detergents including hand soap, laundry liquid and washing up liquid. Value for money and customer service is at the heart of Sunrise Plants - Rose Levick, who started Sunrise Plants from an old agricultural barn in 2015, comes from a family steeped in GARDEN CENTRE & MARKET STALL history. The same core values that took the family from the MARKETS of London and Buckinghamshire to developing some of the LEADING GARDEN CENTRES in the UK are the basis on which Sunrise Plants operates. Following the easing of COVID19 restrictions, we re-opened on May 16th 2020, having been closed by the compulsory shutdown on March 23rd 2020. During that time, the business model has been restructured and we now open 3 days a week - Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Bringing you the same great selection and value for money, but allowing for a better work life balance for our team. (We are DOG FRIENDLY and welcome you bringing your pooch in with you).
