One from last month, when it was still warm

The hunters moon last night over Eastbourne pier at low tide.

For some reason, Instagram compression is really messing with this one.

The sting of missing this last time made me set up a particularly annoying, buzzy alert on my phone.

I didn't expect to see it clearly enough to see the pinks and greens bloom across the sky though. When you take pictures of the milky way, only the camera sees the colour.

This is the Herstmonceux Observatory where I spent an excited hour with my very patient dog, who didn't really understand why I was excited but kept me warm anyways.

Don't know why I like these fortune teller machines so much.

Maybe because such a fundamentally emotional, irrational and human job was one of the first to be automated tickles me.

They're a kind of literal Deus Ex Machina, in a commercialised, culturally, insensitive package.

Also, robots are cool.
