For ⭐Wish List Wednesday⭐ this week we are hoping to be able to find some local businesses to have a collection point in their premises for customers to donate to us. We would provide the donation bin and a list of items we are in need of, then when full we will collect, very similar to the foodbank bins in supermarkets. We always need donations of larder staples to make our nutritious meals and clothes, toiletries etc that we can give to guests in need or sell in our charity shop.

We were greeted with smashed a window, for the second time in two weeks. The charity box was also stolen. We are very disheartened by the actions of some people. As a result of this we are closing for the rest of the week. We don't like closing, and very rarely do this, however we will not tolerate this kind of behaviour.

We thank those who do support us in everything that we do, and will continue to do.

We are celebrating Valentine’s Day in style at the Matthew 25 Mission! Our amazing shop team have created a beautiful window display with all the Valentine’s Day essentials 🥰

Matilda (see what we did there…), our fabulous M25 mannequin, is sporting a fun hat with an important message. Love is free! At the Mission we offer free services to marginalised and vulnerable people in Eastbourne.

This ranges from tasty breakfasts and lunches, a safe, warm space and ongoing support from keyworkers and volunteers. We have built connections with incredible local agencies to ensure that our guests are getting the best access to support their needs through difficult times.

Come down and visit our shop where all profits go straight back into supporting our community 💜
