National florist day celebrate with us
No introduction is really necessary for our Corporate Member, The Florist edited by Caroline Marshall Foster.
Caroline is also the brains behind Good Florist Guide and tomorrow’s National Florist Day, so we couldn’t think of a better time to shine our spotlight!
The Florist Magazine started way back in 1949 but, in more recent times, Caroline has been focussing on their digital platform, theflorist.co.uk, where you'll find the same great Florist Magazine content alongside industry news, making it a great reference tool for anyone working floristry.
And, as if that wasn’t enough The Florist is also host to National Florist Day, Caroline’s latest initiative.
Designed to both celebrate and promote the floristry industry and show that it is so much more than ‘playing with flowers,’ National Florist Day makes its UK debut TOMORROW on June 8th, 2024. And like Caroline, we can’t wait to see what you are all doing to celebrate and raise awareness of the skilled work you do, and love! ❤️
Best of luck to Caroline and her team tomorrow – it’s going to be a BUSY day! 🙌
This is an impressive list of contributors

June is pride month. Annoys me that gay people still struggle for equality. Annoys me there even has to be a day to raise awareness. And yes there’s no I’m straight day you know why? Because people are not universally persecuted for being straight. Yet still worldwide this is a problem. It’s still illegal in some countries to be gay. I’ll say what I always say I don’t care if you’re black white blue or purple I don’t care which god you praise I don’t care who you take to bed as long as it’s consensual adults. Who bloody cares??? As long as you are a nice decent human surely that’s all that matters. Come so far but still a long way to go. Just mind your own business and live and let live. EVERYONE is always welcome at beau-k. I don’t show a sticker in my window to let people know I’m gay friendly I want a world where no gay person has to check on a sticker to see if they’re welcome. 🤬
