Another day, another Worcester. This CDi was fitted in a airing cupboard in place of a old water tank and gas guzzling back boiler. There is still plenty of room for the cupboard to be used for storage.

Another busy Saturday. I was called out to a breakdown of the previous 20 year old boiler. I found it to be dangerous and beyond repair. The house is now heated by a brand new Worcester 24ri with a 8 year guarantee. A very happy and warm customer.

This week is Carbon Monoxide awareness week. A silent killer that could affect anybody in their home. This is what I found behind a gas fire that had only missed 2 years of annual servicing. The owner thought they would be ok as they weren’t using the fire that much and “it didn’t look like it needed a service”. What they couldn’t see was the massive birds nest at the top of their chimney which had then fallen and completely blocked the chimney. LUCKILY, this person had a CO alarm. If they hadn’t, this could have been deadly. ALWAYS get your gas appliances checked annually and test your Carbon Monoxide alarms weekly.
