We are RECRUITING for 2 positions within our friendly, well established bakery and coffee shops, here at Boyatt Wood and Falkland Road.

We are currently seeking 1 full time and 1 part time member of staff to join the team. The successful applicants will be available to work between the hours of 7am and 4pm weekdays and 7am til 3pm occasional Saturdays.

If you are reliable, have great customer service skills and a willingness to learn on the job, we want to hear from you!!! In return, we offer a competitive hourly rate, 4 weeks holiday per year, staff discount and a free lunch during your working day.

Matt’s Bakery and Coffee Corner are recruiting for a Front of House Assistant to join their well-established Bakery & Coffee shop, with branches in Eastleigh and Chandlers Ford.

The Front of House Assistant will be the face of the business and will be passionate about delivering excellent service to their customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Welcoming and assisting customers with their food & beverage orders
Preparing sandwiches, buffets and hot drinks
Operating the till and handling cash & card payments
Ensuring the bakery is kept clean and safe
Assisting with washing up, emptying bins and the organisation of equipment

To be suitable for the role of Front of House Assistant you should:

have good communication skills
have basic catering skills
the ability to prioritise your own workload
enjoy working as part of a team
have the ability to use your own initiative and change pace where required

This is a part time flexible position working 15-20 hours per week, covering holidays, sickness and busier days. The bakery & coffee shop is open 8am – 4pm, Monday to Saturday.

On offer is a generous hourly rate with staff receiving a free lunch during their working day.

Delivery driver required to cover extended holiday from mid November 2022 to mid January 2023. Hours of work 7-11am Monday to Saturday for local deliveries and errands.

Applicants must be over 25 years of age and have a clean driving licence. Company vehicle provided. Flexibility is essential. Good rate of pay for the right candidate.

We are a well established bakery and coffee shop located in the heart of the local community and are looking to expand our team of friendly staff.

Duties will include:-

Welcoming customers and taking their orders
Use of tills, card machine and cash handling
Helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Answering the telephone/taking orders
Assisting with close down procedures

The successful candidates must be flexible, have strong communication skills, be a team player with a "can do" attitude. In return, you will be offered a competitive hourly rate, staff uniform and training where necessary.

Hours required:-

Saturday only 9-3 (additional hours available)
Monday to Friday 9-3 (flexibility essential)
