Next summer, a signal called the Radio Teleswitch Service (RTS) is due to be shut down. This will impact the heating of around 250,000 Scottish households.

Households most likely to be affected are those which:

⚡ Use mains electric heating (eg storage heaters)
🔦 Don’t have a smart meter
⏰ Have an energy tariff offering cheaper electricity at certain times of day (eg Eco 10, Total Heat Total Control, Heatwise, etc.)
