Just the aluminium cladding, lights & decking to the exterior left to do. Inside is a final coat of paint, face plates on sockets & that’s it. Project gym complete …

Nipped into a basement property that’s due to start in the next few months. We stripped it back completely a few months ago but ran into a sewage problem which had been like that for many, many years, lying underneath the floorboards, rotting away alot of wood as you can imagine. It was a lengthy process for the owner to deal with the other residents of the tenement & arranging investigations to get to the bottom of it… literally. The stench was coming through all their drains 😷 Nothing is that much of a problem that it can’t be fixed. This flat will be stunning with wood panelling throughout & a mix of old & new together. Making it a much loved property it once was!

A video of the front bedroom to the extension were working on at the moment.

Recently finished bathroom 🛀 This was only supposed to be a new floor, which we ended up having to strip the whole bathroom out due to leaking taps, waste pipes and rising damp 💦 It’s all finished now except a coat of paint 🎨 Underfloor heating with the slate tiles #impey shower tray with mosaic tiles and #metro tiles. The shelves finished with white glass and the lights come on with a sensor when you walk into the room. It also has fitted wardrobes within the bathroom. The last thing to go in was the honed slate shelf to the right of the bathroom #lpd #joinery #carpentry #bathroom #tiles #metro #edinburgh Thanks to Barry Thompson plastering and tiling

When you have a cheat day and you have to half the last one with your work mate 😂😂

DIY never ends! 🏡 We're in the middle of decorating at home & putting flooring etc down. Waiting for the paper to arrive for the kitchen & we've decided to put in a feature piece of glass in the wall 🙈 So we can see out into the garden & just to let some more natural light in! The wallpaper going up is pretty dark so getting this out the way before we start!

Solid surface mistral worktop supply and fit today! Cut out induction hob and under mounted sink cut out on site. With seamless joint. I'm running the block over it so you can see the joint is completely flush & a perfect finish. A very happy customer!

Fitting kitchen this week. Scribing infill panel to wall so it's flush with the door

Remember the bungalow video I put up only 2wks ago ... at the time we were taking down chimneys & moving rubble! Fast forward 2wks & here we are 😁 The new kitchen looking HUGE! Nice big open space to relax, with stunning doors to look out onto the garden! The bathroom now flush giving it a much more spacious feel! 👏🏻 This project is really taking shape & I'm delighted with the progress!

Keeping the wife happy & tearing down a freshly plastered wall😤 This was a huge cupboard/room that wouldn't get used so she wanted it down & replaced with a half glass wall to create an office! Yet to see her do paperwork 🙈

Just about finished here, the flooring to go! Kitchen with island & drop down table connected. Elongated the size of the room by creating a lowered ceiling which follows the shape of the island & table. A hidden room was created which is now a utility room, with integrated washing machine & side door to the house.... 🏡
