Prairie Oyster featuring Screaming Armadillo’s Hairy Hangover Cure has joined Hôtel Dodo🤠🦪🐎
…a parody oyster is a very unique old school alleged hangover cure. I mostly always just liked the name…when the little screaming hairy armadillo came into play the whole scene of this piece changed (from dark and dusty saloon to something more retro and quaint). Only afterwards did I realise what inspired it…a book called Armadillos and Old Lace by which I read maaaany moons ago….

The most iconic unrequited love story of all times is back!

It’s been over 5 years since I came up with the concept for the lounge. A light and dark contrast to create zones in the space without physical barriers…
It was a very spontaneous decision that just immediately made sense. It is also that space that has hardly changed in all that time….
So here’s to strong gut feelings and just going with them!

Gabbiano means seagull with n Italian. Of course the whole idea is very much along the lines of my favourite motto: if you can’t hide it make it a feature. Or: if you can’t beat your enemy, become their friend😂
