@thedelicaterebellion Hannah has been working hard on getting the new site together. The bare bones are all aligning and now it’s time to add some heart and muscle and all that other shenanigans. It’ll be a wee while still until it can go live. But I’m still here, it’s also school holidays, I’m shooting a heap of wedding and elopement work and juggling editing with time with my boy. So the deal is radio silence on here until everything is good to go. There’s so much going on so I’m going to keep saving my recent weddings till after the site is back up and might post a few stories about other work every now and then cos I’m not very good at following rules. Also, we might ask you a few questions cos it’s always nice to know if we are heading in the right direction with it all. Thanks for being patient and sticking around x
Taking a wee break from posting here while we sort out a big tidy up of all my work. Websites/blogs/socials/stores etc etc will all be down for a bit over the end of the month/start of July while we give everything a dust and polish. There’s a lot of noise getting in the way of the stuff that matters most so taking the time to clear all that out. Back in a bit. Hey lads I’m still here, mostly life is good aside from the odd hair-raising moment (sorrrry) I’ve a heap of meetings this week to hopefully finalise a few really exciting new elopement and wee wedding packages with local indie folks for @theelopementsociety and some stellar souls are helping me out with getting my sh*t together with @_solen_store_ so it’s all good. This weekend we’ve got 2 Saturday weddings, one local and one in London Town so Alix is shooting for me too 🤍 And then June is a riot. A good one. We need more of those don’t we? There will be sneaky wedding peeks here soon and some Edinburgh elopement shenanigans on @theelopementsociety and feel free to join me @solornothing where you can find random rants about my daily existential crises, if that floats yer boat. It’s already taken me ages to move into my new workspace because I’ll do anything to avoid basic maths, which meant I didn’t order enough paint and then it took a week for more to be delivered. 🙄😳 But I’m moving most things in tomorrow. I’ve got some fancy wee dongle gadget to connect with and I’m clearly 100% tech savvy. So hoping to be in touch with couples waiting for a slice of my magnetic patter by the end of the week.

Eeeep. I got the keys to my new work space today. It’ll be a home for @theelopementsociety and all the online store things, somewhere to meet my couples and work pals, to edit, play tunes and drink too much tea. She needs a wee coat of paint and a bit of love but it feels like a good thing. To save me carrying all the @theelopementsociety online store stock from our online store down and up a bunch of stairs I’m going to do a sale this weekend. Tap tap. One two one…two… Looks who’s back, tell a friend. I took a wee while away from posting on here and I did f**k all of the other work admin stuff I said to myself I would do instead but I had naps and started some projects just for fun so it’s all good. Recharged and all that. Turns out I’m sh*te at sitting still at a desk for very long but I’ll be here from Monday, business ready, getting back to lots of exciting enquires for weddings and @theelopementsociety adventures (thank you 🥳😍!). And I’m attempting to organise some posts so you can see what I got up to squeezing nearly 2 years worth of wedding work into about 6 months last year while matrix dodging covid and driving along the M8 and back again very many times. (Promise I won’t wear this for any meetings). Hope you are all well and January is being gentle. Speak soon x
