Spent 8 hours in my wee darkroom cupboard today, in a wee flow. I was finally printing some 35mm negatives from a trip to Skye last summer, making some abstract prints, making my own stone circles and the like for

I usually feel a little flow when im shooting event work, just creeping about paying attention to what folks and the light are up to. It felt very good to get into that feeling with printing. I love the quiet ritual of the darkroom but I can overthink it so today was ace, super short exposures so I had to get on with it.

Creeping around in the archives. I’ve got 2 exhibitions in September so working on putting together a little magazine of some of my work so folks can see past commissions and exotically shoots alongside the prints of my personal work.

I was obsessed with this vintage Moschino x Roy Lichtenstein jacket. I raided vintage and borrowed a heap of beautiful pieces for the shoot which I styled as well.

This was shot after a long wedding season so I think the main thing was grabbing as much colour as possible and we ended up with a loose pop art theme across the clothing. Will maybe share a few more soon too.

Got some pieces in an exhibition on the theme of the muse…

🌞🌞🌞 Celebrating 5 years no booze. 🌞🌞🌞

I’ve started writing about it but the sun came out so when she’s gone away again I’ll publish it for curious folks.

It’s mostly about how my s**tty relationship with the liquor makes more sense now I’m on the never ending waiting list for auDHD assessment. That stuff would make the impulsive me want to rob banks and the anxious people pleasing me bury my head in crappy situations. Now I’m reborn, my locks flowing freely in the breeze as I float through meadows and s**t. It will be a laugh a minute to read.

🌞Shooting a naming ceremony party for THE BEST people, previous clients and their wee one in the sun under the orangery which is a gothic wonder and only slightly losing my s**t at the father son harmonies

✏️ Making poor future wedding clients CRINGE to f**k in the back alleys of Porty. (Promise a practise shoot is a good idea for the camera shy).
