It's been a while... but Fireside Film Club is back!
As part of the The Pitt x Pianodrome Takeover we will be hosting a special screening of Flaherty's pioneering documentary Nanook of the North (1922) with a mesmerising live score by Sink!
As a special treat we also have the first public screening of 'Instruments in the Architecture: Building the ', a documentary by Melt the Fly about the small group of inspired artists behind the creation of the world's first amphitheatre made entirely from up-cycled pianos!

Hello food and film lovers..
We are unfortunately going to have to postpone the Chef Eat-a-Long event due an unexpected change in circumstances..
Anyone who has bought tickets online will receive an email from Citizen Ticket shortly along with a refund..
The rescheduled date is yet to be confirmed, but I can assure that we will be going ahead with the event this summer before August.. Please keep an eye out on facebook for updates..
We're sorry to let you down this time, but really look forward to bringing you this unique culinary cinema event in the near future and we hope to see you then!

An absolutely magical night and a fantastic way to release Fireside Film Club into the wild!
Sink were incredible! The band's amazing array of instruments and outlandish musical techniques really brought to life the intricate characters and exotic scenery in Reiniger's film.. and the beautiful acoustics of Fireside's arches coupled with absolute silence outside on the streets of Edinburgh made for a very unique and special atmosphere!
A very big thank you to everyone who provided various bits, pieces and popcorn machines, and to the Fireside team for heroically starting fires in snowstorms and serving delicious food and booze to our hardcore cinema lovers!

I might be freezing out there, but it’s SNOW a problem at Fireside..! Feet up for 5 minutes after we started setting up for tomorrow..! Heating and seating sorted now to brave the beast to pick up the popcorn machine!

The venue for this exciting piece of cinema is of course Fireside..!
