Narcissus Flower Shop and School

We are very sad and sorry to inform you that, as of close of business on Thursday 30th March 2023, Narcissus Flowers Limited ceased trading.

The news came to us, the employees, completely out of the blue. We were made redundant with immediate effect, the day before payday with absolutely no warning, or in fact, apology from the business owner.

We have had a difficult few days processing the news, but we want to say a big thank you to each and every one of our wonderful customers over the years.

We have been in touch with our wedding couples and are working out alternate solutions for them as quickly as we can.

Thank you also to our industry colleagues who have shown us nothing but kindness and support over the past few difficult days.

Our hearts are broken, and we know you will miss us just as much as we will miss you.

The Narcissus [nahrs-iss-uss]

Brightening up the landscape in the transition from Winter to Spring, the humble Narcissus is thought to represent creativity, inspiration and renewal.

Greek mythology tells a slightly darker story of Narcissus, but whichever tale you read, there is no denying the cheery beauty of these blooms.

British grown narcissus and daffodils are often available at our Broughton Street shop, so pop in for a bunch soon!

Newly launched today is this sweet little VDay delight. Inspired by oor Rabbie Burns' poem, 'Ae Fond Kiss’ is a wee posey brimming with love and affection.
