Rascals Thursdays burst onto the scene in 2016, quickly becoming a hotspot where students and locals gathered to celebrate their shared love of Hip-Hop. Those nights were more than just parties—they were a place where lasting connections and wonderful memories were made. We built a brand that people adored, with some even getting tattoos to remember the good times! The energy was infectious, and the memories we created were, at least for us, legendary.
But now, changing habits and financial pressures have forced us to face a harsh reality: we can no longer see a future for our beloved Thursday nights.

It breaks our hearts to say goodbye to what was once a thriving nightlife scene in Edinburgh. This is a moment we hoped would never come, and it’s hard to accept that the kind of parties we all loved may soon be a thing of the past.

We, the Rascals team, want to thank each and every one of you who joined us, danced with us, and helped create a community that was like no other. You are the reason we did this.

As we prepare to close this chapter, we ask you to support your local nightlife. It’s your energy and passion that keep the scene alive and we hope others avoid our fate.
