STRUT is coming to Inverclyde next week for two live performances on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th October! 💃
From Feral Arts and Megahertz, STRUT performances are rooted in the community with familiar faces taking to the streets to celebrate dance in the local area. Dramatic lighting, catchy beats & stunning projections enveloping everyday buildings form the perfect backdrop for the neighbourhood to watch the STRUT procession. Snug behind windows or gathered on the pavement, it’s the ultimate ‘Are ya dancing? Are ya askin’?’ 🕺

Morag’s death left a silence in her place. When her Canadian granddaughter Sam inherits Morag's piano, Sam also inherits the mystery of her Scottish granny's story. An intimate letter composed of fragmented Scottish ballads leads Sam to uncover Morag’s possible q***rness. In piecing together Morag’s history through their shared musical heritage, Sam discovers her own voice.

Taking a magnifying glass to our society’s obsession with death, or obsession with avoiding it, Crowded Room's new comedy OUTPATIENT runs at Summerhall at 10.30am until 26th August!
Based upon Harriet Madeley's own experience, OUTPATIENT follows journalists Olive as she delves into a new article about mortality, but is perplexed when no one on the palliative care wards wishes to speak to her. That is, until she is diagnoses with a life limiting disease of her own and implodes her own life: breaking up with her fiance Tess; breaking the law; and diving deeper in the article, leading her to find a moribund mate in the wild & beautiful Evelyn, who is terminally ill.
