Ohm's law invented by Georg Simon Ohm was probably the most important of the early quantitative descriptions of the physics of electricity. It is still the most used theorem in electrical and electronic engineering (may be one of the most used in all of the engineering fields). As an electrical and electronic engineer you should memorise it like your name.
Ohm's law: The electric current (I) through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the voltage (V) across the two points where resistance (R) is the proportionality constant. So, V = IR.
